Originally established in 1906 by British Deputy Commissioner Mr. Cole and later renamed Chitralekha Udyan. The park is famous for housing archaeological stone pillars and sculptural reliefs rescued from the 8th-9th century Bamuni Hills ruins, alongside bumper boats, water sports, and a decommissioned MiG-21 jet fighter exhibit.
