Golden Pagoda (Kongmu Kham)
Tengapani, Namsai District, Arunachal Pradesh
Constructed in 2010 on a 20-hectare plateau by the foothills, Kongmu Kham is one of the grandest Buddhist monuments in India. Built in pure Burmese Theravada style with shimmering golden spires, it houses sacred relics of Lord Buddha and a bronze bell brought from Myanmar.
